Create Your Own Fundraiser

Are you celebrating a special occasion, such as a birthday or a holiday? If so, why notmark that occasion by supporting a cause you deeply care about? 

Whether you run a marathon, donate a percentage of your sales, or host a live-streaming fundraiser, there are many different ways that you can help change lives and inspire others to do the same. 

We’ve developed this resource page to help guide you through the process of starting your own fundraising campaign in support of one or more of our recommended charities.

    • Read our blog post about Home Run, a community fundraiser organized by four ultramarathoners, who ran 500 km from Amsterdam to London and helped raise 40,000 GBP for effective charities.

Create a Facebook Fundraiser

Please take note that effective September 15th, 2023, Meta (formerly known as Facebook) Fundraising will be changing its donation processing method to PayPal Giving Fund. As a result, fee-free donations will no longer be available.

  1. Visit our Facebook fundraising page at https://www.facebook.com/fund/TheLifeYouCanSave/
  2. Use the “Details” section on the left-hand side to customize your campaign.
  3. Set your fundraising goal and deadline.
  4. Use the “Why are you raising money” prompt to tell your story. Facebook Fundraiser will provide a prefilled message, but you can customize it to send more of a personal message if you wish.
  5. Use the prefilled image as your “Cover Photo.”
  6. Click “Create.” Your campaign is now active for you to share with family and friends!

Create a Tiltify Fundraiser for your next live streaming event
